You may have escaped my little world, but I have never truly let you go.The Buttoned explores an alternate ending to Coraline, where the Other Mother succeeds in crossing over into the real world and manages to remain there for 10 days. This time, the boundaries between her world and yours can no longer keep her away. Nowhere is quite out of her reach.
